The North Sea and the North Atlantic provide a vast range of fish, from which we select for production at our factory in Frederikshavn. We rely widely on catches from smaller fishing vessels, fishing a limited time only, in order to ensure the best quality.
Being a small country (and a great fishing nation) with only very short transfers from fishing port to factory, we are able to secure optimal quality and react to different requirements very swiftly.
In addition to our own production, we import through a closely knit and long standing network, all conceivable products from all over the world fresh and frozen as well as a number of complementary lines, as foie gras products, fruit purees a.o.
Our skilled staff produce a vast range of hand-cut fillets and portions, including many exotic species and high-value species. Many years of experience and training make no fish strange and guarantee choice quality products. Customer specifications, production to order and just-in-time are the trademarks.
We have also introduced a FFVAC range which includes many items. Covering most species, in a quality equalling that of fresh, the fish are processed, vacumpacked in handy sized units and frozen, preserving ultimate freshness.
The factory includes a division for a full range of brined products, also a flatfish division specializing in Japan production, and a trout processing division.
